Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking for Project Managers to join our team. We are seeking to employ a number of positions across the North and South of England, but, some national and international travel will be required for each position.

Main duties

Candidates should possess the following qualities: 

  • 3 years’ experience working within a similar position in the Industry with an AV background
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Have the ability/initiative to work on your own
  • Confident and professional when dealing with clients
  • AVIXA CTS, CTS-D or CTS-I Qualified
  • Qualifications in project management (Prince 2, PMP etc.)
  • Conversant with software tools inc. MS Visio, AutoCAD, MS Project
  • A track record in delivering multiple concurrent, high-value AV projects

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Conduct site visits to assess works prior to installations commencing
  • Attend client meetings where required
  • If required, assist local sales team with technical pre-sales site visits and advice
  • Work with 3rd party contractors to ensure enabling works are communicated and completed prior to installations taking place
  • Work with the Operations Team to assign labour resources to meet the projects requirements
  • Compile installation information packs for engineers to install from
  • Ensure client handover documentation such as IP Schedules, O&Ms, User Manuals, etc. are prepared in a timely manner
  • Ensure project equipment, cables & consumables are prepared prior to an installation
  • Track cost, variations, and changes throughout the project
  • Motivate, manage, and support all Installation teams, and resolve issues and challenges
  • Ensure onsite works are completed on time
  • Take full ownership for installation performance, quality, and client relationship throughout a small project
  • Ensure as-built information is completed post contract and passed through to the support team
  • Communicate with Sales and Project teams on project progress

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK or hold a valid UK permit (no sponsorship offered), hold a full and clean UK driving licence, up to date passport and be willing/able to travel both within the UK and overseas when required.
