Digital Marketing Executive

Pure Audio Visual are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Executive at our Preston headquarters. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in the online and offline representation of Pure AV. It is a creative role that requires a thorough understanding of best practices across disciplines such as graphic design, copywriting, and videography/photography.

Key Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Executive will create content for a number of different online and offline channels. All content created by the Digital Marketing Executive must align to the strategy, goals, or tasks as instructed and approved by the Marketing Manager.

Furthermore, the Digital Marketing Executive will work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure that all Pure AV communication, internal and external is of the highest standard, consistent with the brand, and represents the Pure AV organisation in the best possible way.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
 

Social Media Management
The Digital Marketing Executive will take the lead in the planning, maintaining, and reporting of all social media channels and associated content calendars. Focusing initially on LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), they will research, create, curate, publish and monitor content in line with the agreed plan and align completely with wider company strategies and goals. The Digital Marketing Executive will also work on continuously developing and improving the organisation’s social media presence and improving employee advocacy across all social channels used.


Case Study Research and Production
The Digital Marketing Executive will identify potential case studies by liaising with sales and technical teams. They will then liaise with the Marketing Manager to identify whether the case study is something the business would like to explore further. If so, the Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for creating all case study content. This includes taking responsibility for writing case studies, and travelling to client sites to take photo’s, video’s, and carry out face-to-face interviews to ensure all required content is successfully captured to a professional standard.

Once all content has been obtained, the Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for editing any materials, working with the client to make any changes required, obtaining complete sign off from the client, and managing the promotion of the case study across online and offline channels as agreed by the Marketing Manager (website, social media, external trade publications etc).


Campaign and Event Support
The Digital Marketing Executive will assist with the creation of a wide variety of content for campaign-based activities. Examples include email, infographics, eBooks, blog posts, promotional flyers, webinars, video, photography, and social media graphics. They will also assist with the planning, delivery, and promotion of both in-person and remote-based events, carrying out any associated tasks requested by the Marketing Manager and attending as required.


Content Management
The Digital Marketing Executive will create and collate content for regular sector-focused newsletters, website, other online/offline channel content, and internal updates etc. They will build relationships with relevant parties (whether internal or external) to source content for such activities.


General Administration
The Digital Marketing Executive will take responsibility for carrying out general administration tasks. This could be tasks such as data cleansing, creating ad-hoc documents, sense-checking documents and media, listing stock items on eBay etc.


 The following are essential for the role:

  • A minimum of 18 months experience within a B2B marketing role.
  • Demonstrable understanding of digital campaign delivery, monitoring and measurement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to write creatively.
  • Experience of social media marketing to a B2B audience.
  • Proven design, videography, photography skills.
  • Outgoing, resourceful, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driving Licence due to the requirement to travel to various locations across the UK.

 

The following is preferred but not essential for the role:

  • Experience in B2B marketing across Audio Visual, IT, Telecommunications, or similar industry.
  • Confident user of Adobe Suite design packages.
  • Knowledge of google analytics, paid media, display advertising, SEO, and digital marketing tools
