Senior Installation Engineer

Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking for a Senior Installation Engineer to join our team. Based out of our Head Office, and reporting to the Installation Manager, the role will see the successful candidate working on customer sites across the UK.

Operating as part of a busy team, the role involves the delivery of audio visual services to a wide range of customers. Our sectors of activity include higher education, health, hospitality, emergency services, museum and corporate.

If you have experience with Crestron, AMX, and/or Extron systems and are able to wire, install, and configure a wide range of AV systems to the highest of industry standards, we would like to hear from you.

Main duties

Candidates should possess the following qualities: 

• A minimum of 2 years practical experience in an audio visual installation role
• Good technical knowledge of audio visual systems (including RS232)
• Excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills
• Experience in creative fault-finding and preventative measures
• Concise reporting on daily activities, for submission to project managers
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• The drive to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that works are completed thoroughly, never walking away from a problem.
• Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner and present a positive image to the customer
• Be organised and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day
• Be able to prioritise and work under pressure

Desirable skills for the role include:

• IPAF, PASMA
• CSCS/ECS card holder
• Experience of audio visual control systems

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK or hold a valid UK permit (no sponsorship offered), hold a full and clean UK driving licence, up to date passport and be willing/able to travel both within the UK and overseas when required.
