Pure AV are looking to grow the Project Management team based in the North of England. We are looking for a highly driven individual to manage the successful delivery of installed audio-visual projects across education, corporate, and healthcare sectors. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the coordination and implementation of multiple projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conduct site visits to assess works prior to installations commencing
  2. Attend client meetings where required
  3. If required, assist local sales team with technical pre-sales site visits and advice
  4. Work with 3rd party contractors to ensure enabling works are communicated and completed prior to installations taking place
  5. Work with the Operations Team to assign labour resources to meet the projects requirements
  6. Compile installation information project packs for engineers to install from
  7. Compile RAMS and Health & Safety compliance
  8. Ensure project equipment, cables & consumables are prepared prior to installation
  9. Responsible for AV/IT schedules generation, and that Serial number /MAC address information is fully recorded
  10. Liaising with customer IT teams to obtain network IP address information in a timely manner
  11. Liaising with Programming department regarding system control customer requirements
  12. Responsible for arranging project equipment & consumables deliveries to site
  13. Track cost, variations, and changes throughout the project
  14. Motivate, manage, and support all Installation teams, resolve issues and challenges throughout a project
  15. Take full responsibility for installation performance, quality, and client relationship throughout a project
  16. Communicate with Sales and Project teams on project progress
  17. Ensure onsite installation & commissioning works are completed on time
  18. Ensure customer handover documentation such as AV/IT Schedules, O&Ms, User Manuals, etc. are prepared and issued in a timely manner
  19. Responsible for obtaining customer Sign-off of projects
  20. Ensure ‘as-built’ information is completed post contract and passed through to the Service team


Skills and experience:

  1. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AV project management
  2. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  3. A good understanding of relevant AV equipment, to include video conferencing, control systems, DSP's, general audio, displays and video walls
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and floor plans
  5. Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software Suite (Word, Excel the primary requirement)
  6. A working knowledge of Auto CAD, MS Visio, and MS Project an advantage but must be prepared to learn
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  8. Must be organised and have an attention to detail
  9. Ability to drive progress
  10. Always Work and respond quickly, often under pressure
  11. AVIXA CTS desirable but must be willing to work towards if not already held
  12. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
