Pure AV named finalists for Education Project of the Year
We are delighted to announce that Pure AV is a finalist in the fiercely contested Education Project category at the 2019 AV Awards. Our place on the shortlist secured for work completed by the Pure AV team on the Clinical Studies Centre at Nottingham Trent University.
The project required Pure AV to design, install and commission an audiovisual system to support post-registration healthcare training within the Clinical Studies Centre. The facilities consist of a small meeting room, two teaching rooms, and specialised teaching areas including a simulated patient room and a mock hospital ward with two ward beds. The solution delivered by Pure AV is designed to support the interactive, practical, scenario-based training that takes place within the centre and which is so crucial in healthcare training and professional development
The new facilities have received an enthusiastic response from room users. Andrew Kirke, Principal Lecturer Paramedic, Urgent & Emergency care, Nottingham Trent University said,
“The new training facilities have created very exciting opportunities for my programme. They are making a big impact on our teaching, but most importantly on the student experience, maximising their learning by making it more engaging and productive.”
The team at Pure AV are delighted to have made the final with a project that involved close collaboration with the Nottingham Trent University AV team. Pure AV account manager Steven Bell, said,
“It was a pleasure to work with the team at Nottingham Trent University on the project, and we are delighted to have our efforts recognised by the AV Awards judging panel".
Now in its 21st year, the AV Awards recognise and reward excellence across the audiovisual industry. The project awards are judged independently by senior representatives from end-user companies and key industry players.
The results will be announced during the much-anticipated annual AV Awards ceremony to be held at Battersea Evolution in London on the 11th October. With over 1,400 professionals from across the industry expected to attend, it promises to be a great evening of networking and celebration.
