Pure AV wins AV News Award

Pure AV wins AV News Award for Learning Lab at Liverpool Hope University

Awarded at a breakfast ceremony on the first day of the four day ISE show held at the Rai in Amsterdam; the award recognises innovation, sustainability and effectiveness in the application of AV within education.

The Learning Lab project was established to create a collaborative learning space that would allow students and tutors to 'co-create' new and innovative disciplinary solutions and approaches to teaching.

The key requirements for the Learning Lab were simple connectivity and ease of use. The solution needed to accommodate BYOD and offer great flexibility whilst remaining accessible for room users.

The Kramer Via solution was selected as the best fit for the project from a technical and support perspective with room control delivered through Crestron.

This Learning Lab gives us the opportunity to push the boundaries of teaching practice. I am confident that with the Learning Lab we will be able to offer our students and innovative experience that genuinely prepares them for the modern collaborative workplace.

Dr Nick Almond, Director of Teaching and Learning at Liverpool Hope University.
