We are delighted to announce that the Pure AV Laser Showcase has been voted AV Market Development Initiative of the Year at the annual AV News Awards.
The award received in front of industry peers in Amsterdam last week recognises success with end-user programmes that contribute to the development of new business opportunities for the AV Industry.
From humble beginnings as an internal technical exercise to its final format as an end-user showcase that brought together presentation and exhibition with a twist on the traditional shoot-out; the Laser Showcase was an event that surpassed all of our expectations.
Peter Sutton, Managing Director of Pure AV, said: “The creation of the event brought together all areas of the business, from the design team, to engineers, to sales and marketing. It was a real team effort, and the award is a great result for the whole business”.
Pure AV also received excellent support from supplier partners, ready to put their products to the test in-front of an audience that included end users from education, corporate and health sectors.
The feedback from the customers and suppliers was extremely positive as we seemed to find a format that encouraged everyone, Pure AV staff, manufacturers and delegates alike to take a fresh look at what laser projection has to offer.
The AV News Awards have a special place within Europe’s audio-visual industry, being focused on the people and community that make the business work, and it is a real honour to receive the award.
